Olde Seven Mile 24" x 12" original acrylic

Olde Seven Mile 24" x 12" original acrylic

$395.00

The Olde Seven Mile Bridge was completed in 1912 by Henry Flagler for his railroad that connected mainland Florida and the Florida Keys, all the way to Key West. The railroad survived only 23 years until it was devastated by a hurricane. The bridge, literally seven miles long, then served as a bridge for automobile traffic, until 1982 when a new bridge was built. Folks in the Keys revere their “Olde Seven”, which is now being restored for foot and bicycle traffic. It is unlikely that they will ever let it be torn down.

Only available as original painting in custom rustic dark wood frame.
