There is an art to casting a net for bait fish, and I've witnessed many a fisherman try. I came across this particular young man one day as he was casting a net from the beach in the Gulf of Mexico. He was so talented in his "art", that he started giving away bait fish because he couldn't use them all. Captivated by his ability, I asked permission to photograph him and later do a painting of his near perfect technique.
